Gedung Sate

This building is a historic building in the center of Bandung. Called as Gedung Sate because this building has a unique characteristic, namely 6 skewers ornaments that exist on top of the central tower. These 6 skewers symbolize the 6 million Guilders used to build this white building in its time. This building is very famous not only in the city of Bandung, but also well known in West Java and Indonesia.

The building that was built in 1920 is still standing strong and functioning as the center of Bandung city government. The building is touted as the 'White House of Bandung' has now become one of the tourist attractions in Bandung the most widely used photo-taking place. This is because the architecture is very beautiful and majestic and the elements of history and culture it has.

Not only the building is very liked, but also the complementary elements of the building is a very well maintained park. The park around Gedung Sate is a favorite location for photo-taking tourists, both taking pictures for memento or photos for brides and shooting for movies.  If you want to enter into a building that has been recognized as one of the most beautiful buildings in Indonesia, then you must have permission first. When you enter the building Gedung Sate, the first time you meet is a set of Sundanese gamelan is only played on certain occasions, such as entertaining special guests or state events. Almost all parts of this building are offices, including rooms that used to be used as an underground dungeon.

Different atmosphere you will get when you climb to the 4th floor. This 4th floor is usually used to entertain special guests or a state event so it has a more comfortable atmosphere. In addition to viewing beautiful scenery by using binoculars, on the 4th floor is also there are photos of the governor's activities, equipped with various souvenirs and inscriptions from the province of West Java.

Gedung Sate is located at Jalan Diponegoro Number 22, Bandung is very easy to reach because it is in downtown Bandung and has good road conditions. Usually tourists who come from out of town will pay a visit to this iconic building as well as the Museum of Geology Bandung because of its adjacent location.

If you want to use angkot, you can take an angkot from Jalan Ir. H. Juanda and Jalan Sulanjana with angkot that goes to Cicaheum and get off in front of Gedung Sate with travel time approximately 5 minutes.

Kawah Putih Ciwidey

Kawah Putih is the most famous tourist attraction in Bandung. Located in Ciwidey, West Java, approximately 50 KM south direction of Bandung, Kawah Putih is a lake formed by the eruption of Mount Patuha. As the name implies, the land in this area is white due to the mixing of sulfur elements. In addition to the white soil, the lake water Kawah Putih area also has a whiteish-green color and can change color according to sulfur content contained, temperature, and weather.

Kawah Putih Ciwidey  is located in a mountainous area that has a height of more than 2,400 meters above sea level. With these altitudes, the air temperature in the White Crater area is of course cold with a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius, so do not forget to bring a jacket or wear thick clothes.

In addition to the beauty enjoyed by the tourists, Kawah Putih Ciwidey is also often a place of other activities, such as shooting films, painting, wedding photos, up to climbing and horseback riding.
